About Me

Hi, my name is Michael Wilson and I am the creator of A Novel Chapter.

I first started the blog back in 2014 on Blogger as I enjoy reading and wanted to share the books that I read with people and my thoughts on them. At that time though the blog was quite stop start as other things came into my life and hadn’t been worked on for long periods of time (the last burst I think I did was a couple of month in early 2019).

During the Covid-19 pandemic I began to have a think about the blog again and as we came out of lockdown I thought I would love to resurrect it but with my greater knowledge now of digital marketing to have a go at doing it properly (in my day job I work for a digital marketing agency providing SEO).

I moved the blog to WordPress in May 2021 and have been working away at it ever since.

In terms of books I like to read I don’t have a set genre that I stick to but I generally love thrillers / mystery and crime novels as well as some fantasy thrown in!

Away from books, my other passions are fitness, movies and gaming which may feature on the blog over time.
